Ahead of six UK acoustic tour dates with Myles Kennedy in November/December, including London's O2 Forum in Kentish Town on Tuesday 3rd December, Devin Townsend releases his new, notably heavier, eleven-track studio album, ‘PowerNerd’, on Friday 25th October via InsideOutMusic, of which the high-speed rampage of a title track is today's Video Of The Day. Townsend’s career is one of many distinct eras, having been the leader of Strapping Young Lad, the lynchpin of the Devin Townsend Project and the co-architect of Country duo Casualties of Cool, all while maintaining his prolific and lauded solo project, as well as the polymath’s latest era, now starting with ‘PowerNerd’.
