Never Say Never 24/11/17

Ten month's after Black Sabbath's 'The End' gig at the same venue, Deep Purple's 'The Long Goodbye' tour stopped off at the London O2 Arena last night. With the tour continuing until the Summer of next year, the question on everyone's lips was - "Is this it?" Drummer Ian Paice - who suffered a minor stroke in June 2016 has been quoted as saying "Never say never" - but whether it was or it wasn't - it didn't detract from an iconic night of their Rock classic's plus a sprinkling from their new album 'Infinite'. With great support from Cats In Space and Europe - Gillan, Morse, Glover, Airey and Paice sent the Purple punters home happy - finishing with an encore of 'Hush' and 'Black Night'.
