London’s Metasoma have shed their Hard-Rock veneer to emerge as a lethal, technical Heavy Metal machine, with their new self-released five-track EP, 'Core', due out on Sunday 2nd August, marking the first statement from a solidified international unit, pitting British rhythmic weight against the uncompromising Metal heritage of the Polish and Romanian underground, such their EP track 'Omen', which is today's Video Of The Day. With the quintet also playing the Northants Rocks Festival on Saturday 25th July, 'Core' was tracked to ensure every rhythmic blow landed with maximum commitment, capturing a band operating at a new level of surgical precision, forging a sound that fuses Alter Bridge’s melodic craftsmanship with the unyielding, rhythmic brutality and groove of Pantera.
