Kimono My House Sparks 24/6/24

Last month, 'Kimono My House' turned 50 and Pale Wizard Records paid tribute to this most special of albums the best way they know how, presenting 'Sparks - Kimono My House - 50 Years Later', with the whole album re-imagined on limited edition viny by a roster of great Rock bands around the world, including tracks from Krooked Tongue, Sergeant Thunderhoof, Tony Reed and more, of which the album's lead single is a blistering take on the classic track, 'This Town Ain't Big Enough for Both of Us', taken on by Bristol's Phoxjaw, which is today's Video Of the Day. 'Kimono My House' is rightly heralded as a legendary 'Glam' Rock album, though it's the sheer quality of the songwriting, largely from Ron Mael, and the soaring vocal performance of brother Russell that surely ensures it's not only a fan favourite Sparks album, but that it's also one of the very best albums of the entire decade.
