Introducing...... Travelin Jack 31/10/17
Our thanks to WRC correspondent Steven C. Gilbert for introducing us to a fantastic German Retro Rock band called Travelin Jack (today's Video Of The Day). The band have developed into one of Germanys most unusual new Rock acts over the last four years, having signed to Steamhammer/SPV to release their spangling second album, 'Commencing Countdown', in September. 'Commencing Countdown' may bring to mind great Rock bands from the seventies such as Thin Lizzy, Rush, Scorpions, Slade and Deep Purple, but the Berlin group (consisiting of Alia Spaceface vocals and guitar, Flo The Fly guitar, Steve Burner bass and Montgomery Shell drums) compositions and warm, analogue production are both contemporary and modern.
