Onkel Tom, Sodom vocalist/bassist Tom Angelripper’s solo project, renowned for songs celebrating boozy good times, beer and schnapps as a staple diet, recently released their new album ‘Bier Ernst’, at the end of last month on Steamhammer/SPV. Along with Metal versions of the popular drinking and party ditties that Onkel Tom and his band are renowned for, Angelripper and his four comrades-in-arms, namely drummer Cornelius Rambadt, guitarists Marcel Mönnig and Klaus Nicodem, and bassist Marc Beste - have recorded a dozen original numbers celebrating life, having a good time and sophisticated drinking!
