Hayseed Dixie + The Hot Damn! Garage Review 30/3/23

"Proving the class of the originals, these somewhat stripped back versions are instant singalongs and make for a fantastic atmosphere, such as particular favourites, 'Hells Bells', 'Paranoid', 'War Pigs' and a superb 'Ace of Spades', but it’s all so much fun, including their originals littered through the set, that walking back from the camera pit through the crowd, I was met by a mass of smiles. It’s engrossing and highly recommended - even if you just go once to see them, you really must go!"

Bluegrass rockers, Hayseed Dixie, who started out as an Appalachian style tribute to AC/DC, playing traditional instruments such as fiddle, and then branched out, playing songs by other Rock luminaries, as well as a few original compositions, stopped off at London's The Garage last Thursday night, on their 16-date UK tour, with special guests, the Queens of “colourful chaos”, The Hot Damn!, so today not only read Les Linyard's complete take on the gig, but also check out Les's photos plus our 'Highway To Hell'/'Freebird' Video Of The Day, filmed the night before at The Old Fire Station in Bournemouth.
