On Friday 23rd April, guitar legend Steve Cropper will release ‘Fire It Up', including today's Video Of The Day of 'Far Away', his first album since 1969 to feature his solo name on it, after decades of stardom in Soul, Blues, and Rock and Roll. Cropper is that guitar on 'Green Onions' by Booker T. & The MGs, who were the house band for Stax Records. He's also a founding member of the Blues Brothers, reintroducing classic Soul to unsuspecting audiences, with Rolling Stone ranking him in the top 40 all-time greatest guitarists.
