The Electric Lady Big Band was formed in 2018 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Hendrix’s 1968 masterpiece 'Electric Ladyland' and tonight at 8pm GMT here at https://ko-fi.com/ronniescotts you can see the band performing live, thanks to another Ronnie Scott’s Livestream. Indeed, bandleader, guitarist, vocalist, arranger and Hendrix devotee Denny Ilett has assembled a 16-piece band of leading UK Jazz artists that has taken the Rock, Blues, Jazz, Funk, Soul and Psychedelic elements of 'Electric Ladyland' into a whole new area cementing Jimi Hendrix’s stature as a true revolutionary in music.
