Caravan Looking After Business Tonight 7/10/21

Ahead of tomorrow's release of 'It's None Of Your Business', their first studio album since 'Paradise Filter' (2013), doyens of Progressive Rock and the ‘Canterbury scene’, Caravan, play Islington's Union Chapel tonight as part of their October UK tour, and one of the album's ten new tracks, their single 'If I Was To Fly', is today's animated Video Of The Day. Consisting of Pye Hastings (guitar, vocals). Geoffrey Richardson (viola, mandolin, guitar), Jan Schelhaas (keyboards) and Mark Walker (drums), and following the departure of Jim Leverton, the band have also been joined by Lee Pomeroy (ELO, Rick Wakeman and Take That) on bass and Jimmy Hastings on flute. Indeed, 'None Of Your Business' overflows with Caravan’s trademark warmth and humour and, also, a sensitivity reflecting the times in which we are living. Sitting among Caravan’s typically whimsical tales such as 'Down From London', is the heartfelt and poignant 'Spare A Thought' and 'Every Precious Little Thing', which looks forward to a return to normality.
