Thirty years down the line and 'Slam' more than stands the test of time, its ethos as relevant as ever, and the Dan Reed Network is currently celebrating its anniversary on tour by playing the album in its entirety, co-headlining their ‘Big 3-0 Tour’ with Gun (Video Of The Day) and FM (Track Of The Day), including London's O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire tonight. Indeed, the legendary pioneering Funk Rock five-piece’s self-titled debut album plus ‘Slam’ has just been totally remastered at Abbey Road Studios by Miles Showell and released on Universal Music at the end of October, including streaming for the very first time.
