Just under six months after we described John Lodge's performance at Guildford's G-Live (pictured) as "as good a chance to hear an authentic rendition of the classic Moody Blues sound as you can currently get", the legendary Birmingham born bassist/vocalist unexpectedly passed away at the age of 82, so very fittingly, as well as being one of our six nominees in our 2025 WRC Best Rock Performance awards, John is also one of today's six of the 'Best Rock Performance Rocks!' Tracks Of The Day, along with the five other nominees, FM (O2 Academy Islington in September), H.E.A.T (Islington Assembly Hall in January), Uriah Heep (London Palladium in February), Luke Morley (London's Bloomsbury Theatre in September) and W.A.S.P. (London's Eventim Apollo in September). Anyway, simply choose your favourite(s) here https://www.wrinklyrockersclub.com/2025-wrc-awards-voting and hit the vote button. You have until midnight 31st December to e-mail all your thirteen category choices with only one submission allowed per e-mail address.
