Legendary Prog outfit Atomic Rooster are playing The Eel Pie Club, The Patch, 67 London Road, Twickenham TW1 3SZ tonight. Formed from the ashes of the The Crazy World of Arthur Brown in 1969, their debut gig was at the Lyceum in London (supported by Deep Purple) and their first self-titled album was released in February 1970. It was after the release of 'Death Walks Behind You' that they had their first taste of UK chart success with 'Tomorrow Night' and 'Devil’s Answer'. Doors open at 7.45pm with support band Jamie Thyer & The Worried Men on from 8.15pm. WRC members are reminded that they can use their cards to get discounted admission. Also tonight, coming out the depths of the underground Electronic scene and playing London's O2 Islington Academy are Atari Teenage Riot, who have defined Digital Hardcore and have come to envelope all levels of the Digital age from Hip-Hop to Techno to Metal.
