Instrumental Progressive Rock outfit Drott, who are comprised of Arve Isdal (Enslaved), Ivar Thormodsæter (Ulver) and Matias Monsen, recently released their hypnotic second single, and today's Video Of The Day, ‘Arch Of Gloom’, taken from their debut album, ‘Orcus’, which is set for release on Friday 24th September via By Norse. Inspired by forces of nature, superstition and spirituality, the trio explores light within darkness through their music. Established last year, they released their self-titled EP in March to great reviews, although this first full-length ten-track album, takes them in a new creative and artistic direction, as they dive deeper into sonic, experimental landscapes.
