With influences including Dream Theater, Avenged Sevenfold and Epica, to name but a few, Progressive Metal outfit Amvyx, have recently released today's Video Of The Day for their reimagined take within our modern dystopia, of a song with a deeper meaning, 'Big in Japan', a major European hit and Synth-Pop song by German group Alphaville, originally released in 1984. With new releases planned this year by the trio, consisting of Ruby Bouzioti - vocals, Eleni Nota - drums and Leonidas Pallikaris guitars/instruments, aside from its infectious sound and lyrics, 'Big in Japan' has also been covered by numerous artists over the years, including Guano Apes and Tom Waits.
