Hotfooting it last month from The 100 Club after Will Wilde’s superb sold out show, I was delighted to catch part of the second set of The Cinelli Brothers last minute gig at the equally legendary Ain't Nothin' But central London venue in Kingly Street,

Undercover, low key and unannounced, tonight this quartet were performing under a nom de plume in between their stacked up gig schedule. Raw, up close and personal, I relished hearing and seeing these hard working guys again, although I did not stay long as it was an adult school night, but it was long enough to share that special Cinelli magic.

Multi instrumentalists, comprising Marco and Alessandro Cinelli, Tom JJ Jones and Jorma Gasparo, these deserved national and international award winners are very much driven by the love for their music and those of others, as well as willing and welcoming of their extended musical circle. Hence, when you are fortunate enough for them to tip you off about a secret gig like this, you make it there!

I have the utmost respect for their music, ever evolving, blending the old with the new. To me they are not only the most outstanding band in a generation, but are the 21st Century equivalent of The Rolling Stones, having the same fire and passion. Indeed, it's a privilege to join them on their musical journey, whether in the UK or abroad, enjoying their sound and vibe along with their parents, family, friends and all that know and love them.
