Summertime Blues Rock 2 Festival
Thursday 23rd July - Saturday 25th July
Beckford, Tewkesbury
The Summertime Blues Rock 2 Festival was sold out, and ran like clockwork to an enthusiastic crowd who had really positive things to say about the Festival:
- "What a fabulous festival & fabulous weekend" - Bridget
- "We had a wonderful time at this great little festival. Thanks to everyone involved" - Bev
- "Well run friendly little festival. You end up knowing almost everybody even if you had never seen them before. All like minded music fans." Brilliant - Tony
- "This was my first time camping at a music festival. We had a fantastic time, everyone was really friendly and the bands were awesome. A massive shout out to Mark and his merry band of volunteers who were instrumental in making this festival a huge success and ensuring that everything ran smoothly" - Dawn
- "It was fantastic, a lovely intimate festival, almost like a private party, thank you to all involved" - Julie
- "We loved every minute and will definitely be back! Thanks to Mark and the whole team for making it happen" - Lesley
- "A new fave! Looking forward to coming again" - Andy
- "Congratulations to Mark and the TEAM! A great vibe. I’ve already ordered my ticket for Summertime Blues Rock at Beckfest 3" - Lucy
Headlined by Stray, Ken Pustelnik’s Groundhogs and Man, across three days, with a host of fantastic and diverse talent in support, across the Blues/Rock genres, it was a fabulous event that will be remembered for a long time. The festival included very established bands, growing bands and new superstars in the making.
It’s relatively small (120 tickets), so everyone feels a part of it and even if they are not friends on arrival, they leave with more! The Festival even got a mention on Planet Rock during the morning of Monday 27th July:
